8 rounds.  Each round is 2 minutes.  Perform 16 reps of specified exercise.  Sprint 20-30 yards.  Perform another 16 reps.  Sprint back.  Continue exercises and sprinting until the timer dings.  A few seconds to reset, and then on to the next round. It's just you versus you.

We did one cycle with 16 reps per exercise.  We then ran it back for a second cycle, but with 8 reps instead of 16.

Read an interesting article on stress & discomfort a few weeks ago (sorry – tried to find it but no luck).  It did mention what we've all likely heard before – discomfort builds strength; expand one's comfort zone; etc.  But the latter part of the article made, at least to me, some interesting points —
We are hard-wired to seek comfort, but does that truly make us better?

1. Discomfort is really relative.  Therefore, reframe the problem.  For example, it's raining in The Gloom.  Comfort exists in the warm, dry confines of one's fartsack.  But how bad is the rain really?  Will it truly harm me?  Will I really be any wetter from the rain than I will be from the sweat?  Is the drizzle really an obstacle for me and my larger quest & goals?

2. Attack discomfort (because it's rarely as bad as you think it is).  It's raining; well, I'll grab a rain jacket.  I have to do 16 burpees.  Focus on doing one.  Reset and do another.  Then another.  The process versus the situation or the result.

Outstanding job today, guys.  I really appreciate each of you coming out in possibly discomforting conditions and demolishing that workout.  I noticed, more than once, when I'd give a time hack, no one stopped.  Each man did what he could, and that commitment to Movement is a core component of F3.  You all are examples of HIMs!
