Cosmo's neighbor, Terry, now known as Sideshow Bob, joined us this morning. After the usual disclaimer about not being a professional (note: they do not hold up in court…) and a quick introduction from Terry, we got into it.
WARMUP:
Side Shuffle Hop (20 IC), Willie Mays Hayes (10 tempo), Imperial Walker (10 IC), Hillbillies (10 IC), Phelps (10 IC),
LBACs (10 IC), and in honor of OPEC, we did 5 jackass merkins.
THE THANG:
Mosey out back down to the traffic circle. It was here that YHC scrapped the plan he put together and came up with the workout on the fly (perhaps it was obvious to the fellow pax, perhaps I was able to cover my tracks well enough). First up, a bear crawl all the way around the traffic circle.
Next mosey down to the bottom of the hill. This was our starting point, where we did 5 merkins, then bernie sanders back up the hill to the triangular island, do 10 pop squats, then mosey back down. Repeat this for a total of 5 rounds, picking up the six when done.
From here we moseyed over to the blocks for a mini-circuit. YHC used this Tuesday as well, and was only comfortable adding it in because no pax from Tuesday were present today:
15 curls, 10 weighted squats, 5 blockies. 3 rounds.
Then we did a little core workout, starting with a plank with feet on the block (vertical or horizontal, whatever the pax was comfortable with), then, in cadence, take one foot off, tap the ground, then bring it back up. Repeat on the other side. 10 IC reps. Next was Homer to Marge with the block on your hips. 15 reps. Last was U-Boats, a 4 count ab exercise, laying on your back, legs out straight, with the block lifted straight up over your chest. 1) lift legs up to vertical, 2) crunch/engage your core, lifting shoulder blades off the ground and pushing the block up towards your feet, 3) return shoulders to ground, 4) return feet to ground. 10 IC reps.
Return blocks, and mosey back toward startex, stopping at the covered walkway near the parking lot. Finding a section of brick wall, we did donkey kickoffs (do 5 donkey kicks against the wall. On the 5th donkey kick hold feet to the wall for 5 seconds. Then up the number to 10 donkey kicks and 10 second hold, 15 kicks, 15 second hold).

PAX led mary, with Crabcake leading Frozen Freddies, Llama Llama leading American Hammers, and Cosmo leading back scratchers/chilly willies.
