Scrolling through the old backblasts, YHC came across the launch workout led by old North Durham legend TaterTot.
(you can find it here: https://f3churham.com/hurricanrana/ which includes some history on the site name).
It looked like a good workout and good use of the area, so YHC decided to run it back with the 'Rana faithful, with a couple adjustments along the way.
WARMUP:
Lap around the parking lot
Good Morning
Willie Mays Hayes
Arm Circles (fwd/bkwd)
Imperial Walker
THE THANG:
Clockwise run around the school to the bus loop for 100 Squats. There were 9 of us, so we each took a turn leading 10 reps, with one of us (Toucan?) getting a second set of 10 to lead.
Run back to the front of the school and over to the wooden railing for a difficult (both to explain and execute) "Indian Rail Derkin" as TaterTot called it.
Line up on the rail, derkin position. Perform 2 derkins, then the PAX on the end bear crawls to the front. Repeat all the way through the line. 10 count.
At this point, we were supposed to do it again doing 4 derkins, but due this group being a couple of PAX bigger, we had to keep moving, which was the erkin version of the Indian Rail Derkin – PAX all did 10 erkins before the end PAX bear crawled down the line while everyone held plank.
Next up – return to the back bus loop, counter clockwise this time, via the gravel road, and mixing in butt kickers, high knees, and karaokes.
BUS-ain Super Bolts!
TaterTot was looking for some Usain Bolt variations on the F3 website (that doesn't appear to exist in that form anymore…current exicon does not have this entry). Apparently Adolphus had an entry in there where PAX paired up. Each pair picks an exercise, and the rest of the PAX perform it while partners A and B run. First Partner A runs while partner B joins the pax in the exercise called, then partner B runs when partner A gets back, and partner A joins in the exercise. Rotate through all of the partner groups.
At this late date, I don't remember the partner pairings, but the exercises were merkins, world war IIs, lunges, and pull ups.
Return to start via the gravel road again, with butt kickers, high knees, and karoakes a second time through.
MARY:
Heels to Heaven, American Hammer, Outlaws (laying on your back, legs raised, feet together, make a big "O" going clockwise, then reverse), Frozen Freddie Mercury (slow, tempo Freddies).
ANNOUNCEMENTS / COT:

YHC took us out with a reminder to learn from mistakes – view them as learning opportunities rather than setbacks. Embrace the process of growth and don't be afraid to make mistakes. Aye!
