YHC keeps finding inspiration in those who paved the way, with their leadership and their dedication to their fellow PAX. We got to revisit and run back an old workout from when Devil's Ridge first moved to the main campus after initially starting out on East Campus. This was just shy of 10 years since the move, and YHC thought it'd be a great way to acknowledge some of the history of the region. The participants were all new, the workout was the same.

WARMUP:
Side Shuffle Hop (19 IC), Willie Mays Hayes (10 tempo), Air Squats (15), Imperial Walker (10 IC), Mountain Climbers (10 IC), Merkins (10).
THE THANG:
Mosey to the Whitfield hill for a jacobs ladder (7s) of burpees at the bottom, squats at the top. Remain at the top once the squats are done as we moseyed on over to K-Ville.
Bear crawl between the light posts, stopping for 15 merkins at each lightpost. This was @te'o 's part of the Q, and if he somehow remembers this from way back when, we're curious if it was the entire K-Ville, or just to the first side walk. There was some lively debate about the distance we should be travelling. We opted to go the full length out, which ended up being 135 merkins (happy merkin monday!). We made our way back via sprint, with a stop for 6 tuck jumps at each light post.
Next was a sprint down and sprint back, with a 10 second per PAX ring of fire low plank hold before heading back to StartEx for Mary.
MARY:
The OG workout didn't have time for Mary, so the PAX all took a turn leading somethign:
Crabcake – Not so lazy boy (left right center)
Baba Ganoush – Freddie Mercuries
Sweatervest – homer to marge
Botched – Shoulder taps (10 IC) followed by 5 merkins
Llama Llama – J.Los
Pumpkin – stretch (YHC was cooked at this point…).
