20 PAX were not afraid of the crisp fall gloom and circled up at the Westend startex. Rebar brought out an FNG named Bill. Interspersed with some explanations about the strange ways F3 does things, warmup exercises commenced at an Atta-Boy pace.

SSH, LBACs (forward & reverse), 6-count Willy Mays Haze, Michael Phelps, Bush Wackers, Imperial Walkers, Hillbillies, Low Squat Hold, 8-count Body Builders
PAX moseyed to the start of the bike trail next to the Arts Center.

PAX lined up in a Ricky Bobby, with some PAX carrying kettlebells and one PAX carrying an awkward 80lb box. The weights were meant to symbolize the stuff in our lives that can keep us from becoming “at-one” with our better selves, our families, our communities, or our Higher Powers. As the R-B line moved forward, weights were passed back until the final PAX in the line received a weight and ran forward to the front, carrying his weight. KBs were passed overhead, the box passed chest-to-chest. Instructions were made that if the line should get too spread, penalties would be administered. Less than a minute later, the PAX found themselves doing penalty absolutions. Teamwork improved, PAX began to “mind the gap” and pace themselves so that the PAX carrying the heavy box was not left behind. Upon their arrival at the first intersection on the bike-trail, the PAX had freed themselves from the burden of the heavy box and performed celebratory Absolutions.

PAX split into 2 R-B lines. One group with the KBs, one without. RB continued along the trail toward the intersection with Merritt Mill. PAX without the KBs performed 3 Burpees before their Sprint frontward, while the KB followed the same rules as before. When the Sprint group got too far ahead of the KB line, they performed an AYG back to the others. PAX then formed smaller groups and ran in the direction of the Lincoln Center, flap-jacking the KBs, and taking a pause to perform OYO Absolutions. Continuing en route, the PAX chased Nightshift who seemed unphased by the extra 45lbs at his side.
Upon their arrival to the Lincoln Center the PAX were surprised to see the parking lot, where YHC had planned several fun exercises, occupied by a rival (?), co-ed fitness group. One PAX suggested a dance-off, but instead, PAX set down their KBs, performed a set of Monkey Humpers that surely impressed the rival group, and then atoned for the humping display with another set of Absolutions.

PAX moseyed across the grassy field to the 3 pullup bars atop a short, steep hill and began a set of 11s- Prisoner Squats at the bottom, AYG, Absolutions at the top. PAX took turns performing Pullups and kept a cumulative count to an impressive 192. Unfortunately, this was 84 pullups shy of YHC’s goal for the group, but time was expiring, so penalty absolutions were withheld.

PAX formed two RB lines and ran their way back to the startex for a little Mary (Flutter Kicks, Homer to Marge, Merkin Ring of Fire- where PAX Mary really impressed the crowd) and most importantly the naming of our FNG, Black Lung.

Announcements were made about the holiday party and the Thanksgiving convergence at Hogan’s Heroes. Prayers for Catskill’s ankle and continued prayers for those needs spoken yesterday at Paradise- Twitty’s family, Red October’s family, and Uzi’s family. Prayers for each of us to atone for the physical, emotional, and spiritual weights that separate us from each other.
