On this day in 1877, American inventor Thomas Alva Edison made his first recording on the phonograph. It was Mary had a Little Lamb. In honor of the phonograph which spins records round and round, we did exercises in a circle.
Round 1
Plank Circle – Everyone planks in a circle and one by one, a PAX hops over the legs of the plankers until everyone has gone once.
Round 2
Supermans while each PAX bear crawls around the circle.
Round 3
Alternate monkey humpers and squats while each PAX reverse lunges around the circle.
On this day In 1990, the most complete and best-preserved skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus Rex was found on South Dakota's Cheyenne River Sioux reservation. In honor of the Tyrannosaurus rex, who have short arms and big legs, we did some short arm and big leg exercises.
