It was an honor to be the second to complete the 4 site trip nip (new name TBD still…), as it's always an honor to lead and join the northern province.
After a nice EC ruck with Cortes and Niblet, we started with a pretty standard warmarama:
Side Shuffle Hop, Willie Mays Hayes, Imperial Walker, Frankesteins, Bushwackers, Manafort Good Mornings (6 count), LBACs (forward and reverse).
We moseyed across the street to the unfortunately very dewy field for the following:
DMC – From the start (the arch way) duck walk 10 yards , 5 merkins, reverse bearcrawl back to start line. Repeat for 20, 30, 40 # of merkins by 5.
Burpee Dans – perform 1 burpee, then 4 single lunges forward. 2 burpees, 8 lunges forward. Repeat until 5 burpees, 10 lunges.
Wilt Chamberlains – traveling about 100' between exercises, perform 100 LBCs at the start, then run 100', perform 100 squats, then run back to the start. Perform 100 flutter kicks (single count) then run 100' again, and perform 100 overhead presses. Then run back to start.
Again, humbled by the support and comradery of this wonderful group!
We then moseyed to the parking lot next to Weaver St. Market. Here we did a 10 round welsh dragon (4 bear crawl steps, 1 merkin, 1 plank jack, 1 shoulder tap (both shoulders), then 4 bear crawl steps and 2 reps of each exercise until we got to 10 reps of each exercise).
A quick jaunt over to the weaver street patio for copenhagens before returning to the parking lot where all 12 PAX picked their favorite ab exercises for mary.
