It's always a pleasure to Q Kenan, with access to such a great complex. Given the field and the upcoming NCG tonight, I thought it appropriate to come up with a gridiron workout. Riffing off a competition that Maraschino apparently stole from Uzi, I brought a couple sandbags and we got to work on a ladder.
WARM UP
SSH x 24
WMH x 12 IC
Harvester x 12 IC
Batwing x 12 IC (except the OHC part, were I lost track and counted to 16)
Hillbillies x 12
Uzi was there ready to break away and lead an IR workout. Deep Dish joined him. We all moseyed to the field.
THE THANG
Simple, a ladder/suicide combo.
Start on the Goal Line
10 yd line, 10 Merkins
20 yd line, 20 VUps
30 yd line, 30 lunges
40 yd line, 40 squats
50 yd line, 50 Alternating Shoulder Taps
The thing with this ladder was, if you were climbing the ladder, you always started at the goal line and had to complete each exercise before going to the next rung. If you got to the 50 yard line, that meant you did 50 merkins, 80 VUps, 90, Lunges, 80 Squats, and 50 Shoulder Taps, most PAX made it through at least twice. At the top of the ladder, you got to either throw or do a sandbag pull into the opponents territory. Once time ran out Team one had their bag on the 5 yard line, with team 2's on the 12.
Uzi and Deep Dish joined the rest of the gang on the walk out off the field.
MARY
Flutter Kicks x 50 IC
Hello Dollys x 25 IC
Box Cutters x 12 IC
COT
A reminder for the Hours, Dollars and Pounds that the 3rd Fs are tracking this year, check out Slack for more info. Lightweight mentioned the SLT backblast, was a good read (cheers to LW for reading it, and the shout out). LW and Right-Swipe are exploring putting together a CPR class for the region.
YHC took us out.
NAKED MOLESKIN
Thank you for allowing me to lead this morning. Its always a pleasure to Q an AO that I don't often get to. I also want to especially call out Lightweight, the loaf of bread was fantastic, not only did I feel that way, but it was a big hit with the M and 2.0s for breakfast. I'll get on the Q sheet again just for that bread! Thank you to Uzi for taking the lead on the IR workout, and helping to keep our IR PAX engaged in the gloom.
SYITG!
