Summer is the time for sequels, right? Seven PAX launched from Culbreth for the second time in as many weeks. The goal was to get in some miles, so a trip to Merritt”s Pasture provided a good way to do just that – including the warm-up laps, we managed just over five and a half.
Warm-up:
– Fellowship jog around the track (x2)
– SSH (in cadence x15)
– Good mornings (in cadence x15)
– Windmills (in cadence x15)
– Willie Mays Hayes (in cadence x15)
– Body weight squats (single count x15)
The thang:
Head out of the school grounds, hop onto Highgrove and through Southern Village to Fan Branch Trail. Follow Fan Branch Trail to the end and turn right on Morgan Creek Trail. Follow Morgan Creek Trail to Merritt”s Pasture, and run the trail around the pasture twice. Head back the way we came, meaning up Highgrove, ending back at the Culbreth track.
