With the weather getting nicer it just feels like it”s time to play. And as we all remember what is more fun than going to school only to go outside and have Field Day? Three legged races, potato sack races, egg toss…there would be none of that…instead, it was just a lot of sweaty men fighting each other for supremacy. Here”s how it went down…6 ruckers and 4 runners for EC so everyone was pretty warm before we even started.

The Thang
Run from the AO to Scroggs field. Count off by 2s and split into teams and line up on the end line. One at a time a member of each team would bear crawl towards mid-field. When they got halfway the next PAX would go. Once reaching midfield stand and sprint to the far end line and jog back to the start. Once everyone had completed three rounds plank it out to declare a winner. Team 2 won so Moore got to choose the exercise which was…100-yard bear crawl.
Mosey back to the start. PAX plank next to each other heading down the field. The PAX at the end box jumps over everyone”s legs and takes his spot next to the man at the end. This goes until teams reach the far goal line. Team 1 wins and Pedro leads us in merkins.
To the middle of the field and pick up a firehose which will serve as our rope in an epic tug-of-war. Winning team calls the exercises. Apparently, Nacho was the difference maker in this exercise as whichever team he was on seem to win…yes Nacho was undefeated. Five tug-of-war battles with 5 different exercises after each one.
Each team then takes a firehose (yes there were two…thanks Yanni) and with firehose on shoulder execute an Indian Run back to the AO.

Grateful for the men this morning. Great to have a competition where people can shake hands afterward and genuinely respect the men they compete against. Absolutely fantastic fellowship at Pville this morning…thanks for the opportunity to lead and for following me around for 45 minutes.
