If the title makes it sound hard, that”s because it was. Seven pax came out on a perfect morning for a workout, and Moore didn”t let us down. Here”s what happened:

Three showed up for a 5k. Two made it all the way but one needed to divert and make a quick stop at his house before the main event started.
Main Event:
Warm-up
- 21 SSH
- 20 Goofballs
- 10 Willie Mays Hayes
- 10 Don Quixotes
The Thang
Partner up.
- Round 1
- Partner 1 – “Blockees” (i.e. burpee with cinder block) at the bottom of the hill until partner #2 returns from his jaunt.
- Partner 2 – Brick in each hand and run to top of hill. 10 merkins the first trip. 20 the second. 30… 40… 30… 20… 10 for a total of 160 merkins
- Finished off with 5 merkins for all to get 165 or the day for anyone doing the March Merkin Madness.
- Round 2
- Partner 1 – Stay at bottom of the hill and shadow box with bricks ducking back and forth under a rope.
- Partner 2 – Run with cinder block to top of hill… 5 squats the first trip. 10 the second. 15 the last.
Time for some legs. 10 sets of 20 air squats. 1 set every 30 seconds for 5 minutes. Sounds easy. Feels brutal…
