Pain on Ice

5 EC warriors comprised the total PAX on hand for the ME. It was cold, it was dark, and it was lovely. After 125 KB swings, 125 KB squats, and 10 get ups, we warmed up and stretched to begin the ME.
With TBD facilities reduced to frozen tundra, we used the parking lot for 5 stations:

  1. Lunge walk to the road and back with 30LB KBs in either hand (time in station was based on this guy finishing)
  2. Walk with 45LB walk over your head extended, to the road and back, repeatedly until station 1 finished.
  3. Thrusters
  4. 70LB KB swings
  5. 100LB KB squats

Congrats, you just got invited to a Swerkin party, and you RSVP”d YES:
5 stations, 4 of them are 20 Swerkin (knee up on swing-set followed by merkin) stations (down the swingset line) and one is 10 pull-ups followed by a dead hang.
The afterparty took place in the Dance Pavilion. Again, 5 PAX = 5 stations, but this time each PAX got to choose the exercise on his own pic-a-nic table.

  1. Sweats: 50 dips (timed on this)
  2. Beano: Alternating step ups
  3. Avalanche: Single leg squats
  4. Juco: Plank
  5. Riggs: Flutter kicks

The after-after party: 30 Derkins, 25 single leg squats with a 20 second hold at the end for each leg.
