My heart jumped out of my chest when I sat up and saw light streaming through the closed blinds—how did I sleep through my alarm on the morning of my VQ?!? I quickly jumped up and looked at the clock: 0430. Phew, false alarm. How the heck was there so much moonlight this morning?
WARM-UP
- 30 SSH (IC)

After warm-ups and moseying to the right parking lot, YHC suggested we could keep it simple and perform burpees and bear crawls for 45 minutes. Mumblechatter suggested there was still time to make it to thewall for an 0545 post so YHC assured the PAX his plan was not that bad (while Mr. Burns’s evil laugh played in his head).
THE THANG

- Mosey to the left parking lot
- BTTW 5 count each (YHC suggested 10 count each, but wiser PAX suggested we consider a 5 count instead; as the PAX bungled the counting process and extended the agony, YHC exclaimed, “Five was a good idea!” 10 may have done us in.)

BOM
One of the central tenets of F3 is to give men leadership opportunities. Thanks to the 11 PAX that showed up this morning for giving me the opportunity to lead. Thanks to all the Qs at all the workouts I’ve attended in the past for being a leadership example.
Take the idea of leadership out into the world. Look for opportunities in your life to be a leader. And look for opportunities to give others (kids, family, friends, co-workers) a chance to lead—practicing decision-making and practicing the accountability that comes with it is what makes us better leaders. Aye!
