So as I explained to the PAX this morning, I’ve been doing F3 for 6+ years now. I’ve seen a lot of workouts including lots of “Holiday Themed” ones. But the one that sticks out to me still is the first Christmas/Holiday workout I ever participated in. It was at a long lost site somewhere in the deep recesses of Chapel Hill, a place affectionately called “OCL” or “Orange Co Line”. F3 men, past and present would show up here to determine who had more grit and to enjoy some friendly competition/workouts. One of those gentlemen was called “Knoxville” and if your lucky enough you will still get to meet said PAX if you show up at the right site on a day he joins. Anyway, he decided to do a “12 Days of Christmas “ workout. Basically you pick an exercise for each day and do the number of reps correlated to the number of that day. Simple enough. But a catch, as you move up the days (ie 1 to 2) you not only do the current number you are on but then proceed to do all other days below. Once you reach Day 12, you then descend back down the days to you arrive back at only one. Which did not happen today (got back to day 8) nor did it happen all those years ago (not sure where we got back too..). Listed below are the exercises with their corresponding day.
Day 1- 1 8count man maker
Day 2- 2 hand release merkins
Day 3- 3 cadence jump lunges
Day 4- 4 WWIIs
Day 5- 5 Burpees
Day 6- 6 cadence Maknter N’Diayes
Day 7- 7 jump squats
Day 8- 8 Carolina dry docks
Day 9- 9 cadence Russian hammers
Day 10- 10 wide grip merkins
Day 11 – 11 Cadence seal jacks
Day 12- 12 cadence count squats

Although we only were able to reach day 12 and work back down to day 8 I think by the moans it was an effective WO. But also a good addition of some mumble chatter helped make the season bright and WO less sucky. I appreciate all that came and endured and I am humbled by how lucky we are to have such a great group of PAX!
Prayers for all spoken and unspoken requests, people and our fellow PAX need us more than ever. YHC took us out with his usual thanks.
Safe travels to all that are going, and in the words of that famous fat man “and to all a good night!”
