MOLESKIN
I talked about having grace for ourselves. I don't know about you, but I'm hard on myself. I come down on myself when I'm short with my family, when I don't work hard enough, when I don't eat right, etc. A few years ago I learned about the loving kindness meditation that has you look at yourself with an unbiased perspective. It encourages you to look at yourself through the lens of someone who loves you unconditionally, like your kids. And then it asks if you would have compassion and grace for yourself. Of course you would! So often, we don't have compassion and grace for ourselves and we live in constant shame and struggle. I suggested that we need to have more grace for ourselves. This grace will help us live a more fulfilled and free life, opening up space for us to more readily extend love to others.
