10/08/2022 The Battering Ram – MuckTheFets

October 10, 2022

WHEN: 10/08/2022
QIC: Lightweight
PAX: FNG’s Sauce, Smokey, Snooze, and 20 additional high octane men of strength and character.
ME HEADCOUNT: 23
EC HEADCOUNT: 6
COFFETERIA HEADCOUNT: 15

As fate would dictate, my TBR VQ landed on the opposite side of the QR. YHC encouraged all who could make it to the QR to do so, and I'd lead all who could not attend. TBR is a special place and the 22 men who followed my lead gave me quite a boost to start an awesome fall weekend. We had some fun, worked hard, and closed out the main event with a hat trick of FNGs. Thank you Bump for the invitation to Q, I hope to do so again soon.

COT:
“What we get out of life is not determined by the good feelings we desire but by what bad feelings we’re willing and able to sustain to get us to those good feelings … who we are is defined by the values one is willing to struggle for!”

My interpretation:
The good stuff is on the other side of struggle — we often find ourselves pursuing comfort at all costs, often to our detriment.

Embrace the hardship and the strength that it brings.

Aye!
