Sorry- hectic day today so here is a quick BB.
A FANTASTIC group this morning- thank you for being out there with me.
Warm up
In honor of Cosmo we did five burbees to get them out of our system
Mosey to the back parking lot. At each corner, we stopped and did five 8 count man-makers.
The picnic benches were right there so we had to stop and give them so love. Three sets of:
20 dips, 15 irkins, 10 dirkins.
Swamp then lead us to the steel pile.
We lined up at one side of the parking lot and began a set of 11’s.
Overhead press on one side and merkins on the other. The mode of travel was up to the individual PAX.
The last bit of fun before Mary was a side shuffle hop 10 count ring of fire. Each PAX took a turn counting out a cadence count set of ten SSH. That’s a lot of SSHs- our heart rates were back up.
Mary consisted of: LBC, heals to heaven, and flutter kick.
I personally don’t think we do enough stretching so we ended with some yoga inspired stretches.
Cobra, down dog, pigeon, and child pose took us to the end of the workout.
The two announcements were a preview of Iron PAX for tomorrow at Tobacco Road and a reminder about the Bull
YHC took us out.
There is a lot of stuff going on in the world these days and it seems like very little of it positive. We, however, are very lucky to be involved in a group that pushes us to be better every day in a positive way. We are not able (most likely) to change the entire world but we can change the world for an individual we come into contact with. Be the positive influence this world needs.
