The mumblechatter took turns I never expected, but thankfully we still managed to get a good workout in…

Warmarama:
Side Shuffle Hop (20 IC), Willie Mays Hayes (10 tempo), Imperial Squat Walker (10 IC), Hillbillies (10 IC), LBACs (10 IC), Phelps (10 IC), Minute Merkin (30 seconds down, hold 10 seconds, 30 seconds up)

After being informed that there were fire ants in the grass at the traffic circle, YHC had to change things up a bit, and we went with the following (some of which would have happened either way, some made up on the fly…)

Burp & Merk & Groin – 10 burpees with descending counts on merkins (starting with 10) and ascending counts on groiners (starting with 1). So Burpee #1 looks like dropping down into plank, doing 10 merkins, and 1 groiner and back up. Then dropping down for burpee #2, 9 merkins, 2 groiners, etc…until you do 1 merkins with 10 groiners.

All Jacked Up – all the fun you can do with jacking (in public that won't get you in trouble…)
5 rounds, 1 "jack" related exercise each round.
1 – 50 IC side shuffle hop
2 – 40 IC seal jacks
3 – 30 IC Plank Jacks
4 – 20 IC Cross over squat Jacks
5 – 10 IC Smurf Jacks

Derkin N'Diayes (we used the parking curb) – The other end of the rainbow of the Makhtar N’Diayes movements: From Derkin position (feet up), a 5-count exercise in which you put each foot to the ground and back into regular Derkin position, and then complete a Derkin. Increase the incline to really burn your core.

2 rounds of the circuit below, 10 reps each, with no break except 30 seconds between rounds.

10 IC Mountain Climbers
10 Slow Squats
10 Mike Tysons

Moseyed down to toward the bottom of the parking lot. Partner up for broken wheelbarrow (4 wheelbarrow steps, then 1 merkin. 4 more steps, then 2 merkins, 4 more steps then 3 merkins, etc…until about half way back to the top to switch partners).

Mary –
60 second bear plank hold
Dr. W – Dr. W is an insufferable 8-count ab exercise that combines Dolly, Rosalita, and the W. 1 is legs apart like a Low Dolly, 2 is legs together, 3 is raise the legs to Rosalita position (45-60 degrees-ish), 4 is spread ‘em, 5 is The W (hands together and stretching forward between your legs), 6 is the return to your back (legs still up), 7 is legs together, 8 is legs down. 10 reps.
