In YHC's travels through the world of the F3 Churham backblasts, I take note of particularly grueling workouts as well as VQs. As it turns out, this VQ happened to also be a particularly grueling workout! @cherrybaked came up with this nightmare when he stepped up to lead after @swamp caught covid back in early 2022. As we worked through the workout, @crash cart and I think @scribble who were at the OG version, begrudgingly acknowledged their recollection of it. See the link for the original workout. Warmarama
Side Shuffle Hop (20 IC), Willie Mays Hayes (10 tempo), Imperial Walker (10 IC), Hillbillies (10 IC), Michael Phelps (10 IC), LBACs (10 IC, forward, reverse)

Mosey to steel and line up at the edge of the parking lot, facing the church. After each round, carry steel to the next perpendicular parking space line.

Rounds:
A – 5 seal burpees
B – 5 seal burpees + 10 merkins
C – 5 seal burpees + 10 merkins + 15 squat thursters
D – 5 seal burpees + 10 merkins + 15 squat thursters + 20 mountain climbers (IC)
E – 5 seal burpees + 10 merkins + 15 squat thursters + 20 mountain climbers (IC) + 25 WWII (w/coupon)
F – 5 seal burpees + 10 merkins + 15 squat thursters + 20 mountain climbers (IC) + 25 WWII (w/coupon) + 30 curls
By the time we made it out here, YHC realized there was no way we were getting all the way back. So, instead of returning in reverse, dropping an exercise from each round, we broke the full round (F) into 3 sections on our way to return the steel, doing WWIIs and Curls at stop 5, squat thrusters and mountain climbers at stop 3, and seal burpees and merkins back at start. Thankfully Crash Cart confirmed that no, they did not complete this workout back in 2022, either. Which was a relief for YHC, thinking I was moving the PAX along at much too slow of a pace.

Intended return back to start:

YHC took us out with a reminder that we get up in the morning to do hard thing today, to make tomorrow easier. I had seen a quote recently that said "discipline today makes tomorrow easier. Taking a short cut today makes tomorrow harder" – go out there and show discipline today so your tomorrow is easier. Aye!
