After a false start due to a sick 2.0, I wasn't able to bring back an old Floyd Pirhana Q on Tuesday, so we circled back to an old Floyd Tobacco Road Q today. All PAX were excited. During the middle of the workout, I asked Cardiac, who was present 10 years ago, if he remembered the workout. He said no, and that point, I realized that had he been going about weekly, that's 50 workouts a year x 10 years…that's 500 Tobacco Road workouts ago (wow!), so understandably, it didn't ring a bell.

THE THANG:
Mosey to the soccer field for the de-escalating escalator.

Here I will quote the man himself on how to describe what this was:
9 sets of exercises, starting out with one, adding another up to four with gradually decreasing reps each set (see grid below and figure it out, it is too hard to explain.) In between sets, PAX run in various forms of travel. (Dashes added by YHC to help myself understand it).

Travel between sets:
Set 1: Shuttle Run (6M, 18M, midfield)
Set 2: Bear crawl to 50, sprint back
Set 3: Sprint to end of field and back
Set 4: Bernie Sanders shuttle run (6M, 18M, midfield)
Set 5: Crawl Bear to 18, sprint back
Set 6: Sprint to midfield and back
Set 7: Karaoke 50 and back
Set 8: Run to midfield and back and do 5 burpees. To YHC's surprise, this lead to a comment from Cardiac besmirching Burpees after all of the arm and shoulder work leading up to this point.
We sadly didn't have time for the 3 more mid-field sprint and back for 5 burpee reps that Riggs added to the end of Floyd's escalator.
MARY:
With 5 PAX and 5 mary exercises planned, we each took a turn leading the count.
