Last night, your Shared Leadership Team (SLT) met to work on a charter to act as a kind of a North Star to help guide our decisions and how we work. I appreciate the commitment of Fish & Chips to facilitate the discussion, and to host us at his place. Thank you Fish.

Our meeting was solely focused on developing a charter for our new team. Over the course of 3.5 hours, we collectively outlined the SLT's Core Values, Group Norms, Roles, Metrics of Success, and Standards of Quality. The work with this is not done, over the next few days we've committed to tidying up the document, reviewing with the SLT members that were unable to make it, and then will share it with the region.

What stood out to me over the course of the evening, is the willingness for the SLT to respectfully dissent, openly share, and work together to ensure the topics we discussed were meaningful to everyone. There were HIMS that stepped out of their comfort zone, HIMS that put their "semi-agreeable pants" on, and a collective sense of a true team coming together over our shared thoughts.

Many of you have been asking about the SLT, and what we've been doing. Over the past four months, we've developed a work plan that outlines what we're going to be working on over the next year, and we're close to finalizing how our SLT works together and how we work on behalf of the region…for each of you.

Thank you SLT members for your continued efforts. Churham PAX, thank you for your continued patience, while we work through our organizational efforts. Be on the lookout within the next 2-3 weeks for a new charter for the SLT.
