I, BumpDraft, originally posted a pre-blast without stoking the fire of the VT-UNC semifinal ACC Conference Tournament game on Friday. UNC is a celebrated basketball program, and I closely watched their tenure under Dean Smith and Roy Williams. Decades later, I'm a proud Virginia Tech graduate. I'm partisan. No apologies.

Vice and Flappy decided to add the rivalry into the mix late on Friday evening. Vice wanted to throw ink-filled balloons at VT fans. Translated, Vice and Flappy were quite confident that UNC would easily win the semifinal, since they had already beaten Tech twice during the regular season.

As we know, Virginia Tech dusted UNC behind another masterful coaching effort thanks to Mike Young.

EC: I had something planned specifically for Uzi because he can't run (he HC'd). However, he didn't show, and I changed it because of the rain too. It's difficult to workout for two hours being completely soaked. I've done it, but it's not fun. We ended up running nearly 3 miles under the parking deck. Golden, Quicken, Banana, Flap, and I moved coupons, and then returned to the starting point. Quicken reported that participants of EC and ME collected more than 5 miles. Incidentally, this was the second week that TBR ME was running intensive.

ME:

Flappy did a bunch of EMOM stuff–back it up–is this Tristram Shandy??

Flap wore a UNC t-shirt, but he attended CIA. He owns a restaurant in Chapel Hill, so he can't openly support his secret favorite team–N.C. State.

He did admit at the beginning of ME that he erred in his belief that UNC would overcome VT for a third time. Count wasn't there, so I wasn't forced to listen about how North Dakota State wrestled Samford to a stalemate at some warehouse in the Midwest. Flap was gracious; UNC people had to complete a series of seal burpees, several times.

Correction–Flappy mentioned that I was not prepared to sing a "Tech fight song." I was prepared to play a song, but four seal burpees didn't give me to play Tech Triumph. Instead, I played Enter Sandman during the next EMOM.

During the next EMOM, he asked the Tech faithful to sing happy birthday to Uzi; and we did so from about 50 meters away. It was glorious.

Vice decided not to show for fear of public shaming. However, he will be shamed very soon.

Nota bene: TBR debuted a low-impact Q today; Catskill is stepping away next Saturday–sad day; why does Flappy hate to smile during NOR?; Wawa is becoming a two-hour man;

I really want to restart the 2022 Fluid Identity Tour; pulling another Andy Kaufman could be fun, but it could also be detrimental. The last time I did it Maraschino and Count ended living in an alternative universe. This is the actual narrative of the way that things happened, unless someone else wants to challenge.
