Backblast — Peace Through Pain

Split the PAX into Older vs. Younger for a world-history peace trivia showdown. Each round: guess the date (and sometimes the missing headline). Closer team earned the easier version. Other team paid retail. History ranged from ancient treaties to modern reconciliation. Some strong guesses. Some confident misses. Some strategic “intelligence gathering” by waiting to hear the other team's guesses first.

Warmup:

Competition movements:

* Some other stuff I forgot (because oxygen was limited)

Between rounds: Golden Goal soccer. Sudden death. No VAR. Questionable officiating. In soccer, the first round was competitive, with the older pax taking the win. In the second round, friendship and peace prevailed — despite visible attempts by the officials to hand it over to the youth.

Overall result: Slight edge to the Older PAX.
Experience over enthusiasm — for now.
