Next YHC asked Pax to lineup from strongest to weakest – inspired by the Fox hit reality show Special Forces where celebrities go through some military training and inevitably breakdown crying. Most were unfamiliar with the show, so maybe “hit” is a bit too strong, but thankfully Cosmo knew what I was talking about and eagerly volunteered that he was Jamie Lynn spears (Britney’s little sister struggling to get her own shine). Point from the show and for this morning was that when you don’t know the task it’s nearly impossible to say who’s strong and who’s weak and it’s best never to think too much or too little of yourself or the men/women around you. We all have our strengths and weaknesses and can benefit from working as a team.
So we made teams of two – pairing strongest with weakest, 2nd strongest with 2nd weakest, etc.
Team had to complete a bear crawl really back to startex with alternating one member performing exercises while other did the crawling. Goal of team was to complete 30 burpees, 60 hammers and 90 tuck jumps total and make it back first. Castaway and Thirstay were victorious and got to choose Mary exercise – X factors.
We finished with a 60 second low plank hold in another nod to Fox Special Forces, where the instructors tell celebrities they can do hard things if they mentally get out of their own way. No one cried, so not sure the PAX got as much out of it as Scary Spice and Mike Piazza! Set your DVRs!!!
