A hardy crew threw down their HCs expecting a major winter weather event but ended up working out among a few puddles and the occasional icy patch.

Standard Warmup

Mosey to the pull up area. Each PAX hits a round of max pull ups while PAX alternate between sets of Mountain Climbers and sets of Tuck Jumps

Mosey to parking deck
Crawl Bear/Bear Crawl/Backwards Run up one ramp and shuffle across
5 Burpees
20 Squats
5 Burpees
10 Aussie snow angels
5 Burpees
10 Bird dogs
5 Burpees
20 LBCs

Repeat for the next several levels

As yet unnamed mobility exercises were scatted throughout the workout including a spinal wave movement, an arm arch thing, and a prone spine twist that apparently involves a lot of grunting and heavy breathing.

Return to the ground level of the parking deck to try something new.
PAX start running up the north staircase. Every time they arrive at a new level they either:
-See that no one is currently working on that level and do 20 reps of an exercise of their choice OR
-See that someone is already doing reps on that level, so they keep moving along the stairs
When PAX make it to the top, they cross to the south staircase and move down, stopping at any unoccupied level to do 20 reps

After a couple rounds, PAX were instructed to assemble at ground level for an Uzi lead mini workout. This allowed YHC to run the stair circuit backwards to re-assemble the scattered PAX.

Flutter kicks to finish.

COT
No announcements or prayer requests. But we later discovered that Brandwein's Bagels will be closed for remodeling starting Thursday Jan 27, so make alternate coffeeteria plans.

YHC took us out with a word about ATTENTION.

It is a powerful and limited resource. We are all aware of the life altering power of 45 minutes of regular, unbroken, determined, and focused attention. That is what we give to every workout, and the positive effects of that attention are numerous and obvious. We give that attention to our workouts and in our professional lives because we have peers, PAX, Qs, bosses, patients, etc who demand that attention and let us know when it is missing. I'm sure there are great rewards to be had from applying a similar consistency of attention to other areas of our personal lives and relationships.
This leads to two obvious action items:
-Identify those fertile fields in your life and give them the attention they deserve.
-Identify where you are not getting the attention you deserve and be bold enough to ask for what you need.
