During the Holiday Fundraiser, Chatham (i.e., Bada Bing) made a bet with Southern Chapel Hill regarding who could raise the most money over a specific 5 day period. Losing group had to sign up for 5 Q spots at the winning group's AOs. Chatham list and, even though I want the one actually making this bet, I found myself on the Paradise Q sheet for this morning. The weather was perfect and Paradise is always a great speed to Q so I was stoked to have the opportunity to lead these fine men this morning!

WARMUP

The usual stuff; e.g., Side Shuffle Hop, Willie Mays Hayes, Slow Squat, Slow Merkin, Michael Phelps, etc.

THE THANG

The plan for today was to make a big loop around the school with a few stops along the way. We moseyed down to the first traffic circle, where we Bearcrawled around the circle, stopping 4 times on the way around for Shoulder Taps IC.

We then continued our mosey to the next traffic circle where we Lunge Walked around the circle, stopping 4 times on the way around for Side Lunges IC.

Finally came the good stuff…hill sprints x3.

After the hill sprints, we mustered up the energy to run back to Startex, which was also uphill by this point.

With the on field cardiac arrest of the Bill's Damar Hamlin and the passing of Cardinal, we have been reminded twice in the past two weeks about cardiac health and the importance of timely intervention. As a Q or site Q, always plan to have a phone close by if you're leaving the AO and won't be near your car. Additionally, F3 Churham leadership is currently looking at ways to organize a CPR class for interested PAX. You can never be too prepared for when disaster strikes. Until next time, Aye!
