YHC was inspired by last week's visit to #thebighouse. @Nitro pulled off a terrific core routine that YHC wanted to emulate, but nagging injuries kept us well balanced with some leg work. Special thanks to @Nubbin and @Denali, who gave our FNG the delectable name @Fabio at the last possible moment. It was a hailmary pass caught in the back of the end zone for the win.

THE THANG

Mosey to the parking lot. Began at one end, worked across the length of lot for equal counts bear walk steps, merkins, plank jacks, and shoulder taps, ending with a single jump. Beginning at 1, ending at 10.
Mosey to traffic circle.
"Around the world" lunges: Right leg 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock, 10 o'clock, 12 o'clock. Left leg12 o'clock, 9 o'clock, 6 o'clock, 2 o'clock, 12 o'clock.
Rinse and repeat.
Mosey to Cates Creek
Partnered off, Sea Turtles x 30 while partner hung on rings or bar, then switch. Repeat twice more.
Mosey to traffic circle.
YHC called these super lunges: While resting position is one knee down and one knee up (as in the down position of a traditional lunge), the foot is kept toenails side down for LESS stability as we stand up. When prompted, PAX were to press down on the "up" knee, while lifting the "down" knee as if taking a giant step up to an invisible chair. Come back down to starting position. Repeat 10 times. Switch legs.

Finished with ab fitness challenge: 30 seconds of chillcut plank, 15 seconds right arm up, 15 seconds left leg up, 15 seconds right leg up, 15 seconds left arm up, 15 seconds right arm and left leg up, 15 seconds left arm and right leg up, finished with 30 more seconds of regulR chillcut plank.
