The Inchworm

February 2, 2018

WHEN: 02/02/2018
QIC: Appomattox
PAX: Slug, Catfish, Big Cat, Food Lion, Easy Rider, Foghorn Leghorn, Swingline

YHC fortuitously checked Slack last night to find a message from Adolphus asking for a Q trade. With rain in the forecast, the parking deck seemed like the logical place to spend a pleasant 61 minutes.

8 PAX arrived for the show, and we were off.

Warmup:

SSH/IW/WMH/Arm Circles (and reverse)/Mountain Climber/Slooooow Merkins

Fellowship jog down Main Street, then to the bike path to the very botton of the parking deck.

Once there, PAX divided into two groups to begin the Inchworm. Group 1 traveled up one length of the deck while Group 2 did a designated exercise. Group 1 then did the exercise while Group 2 caught up. Group 2 then traveled the next length, and so forth and so on to the top of the deck. The mode of travel/exercises were:

0-1:Lunge-walk/Merkins

1-1.5: Traveling Burpees/WWIIs

1.5-2: Bear Crawl/Dry Docks

2-2.5: Broad jump/BWS

2.5-3: Crawl Bear/Merkins

3-3.5: Lunge-walk/WWIIs

3.5-4: Bearkin (4-ct. Bear crawl, merkin on 4)/Dry Docks

4-4.5: Bunny hop/BWS

4.5-5: Traveling Burpee/Merkins

5-5.5: Crawl Bear/WWIIs

5.5-6: Bear Crawl/Dry Docks

Usain Bolt to the very top of the deck, where PAX circled up for a double ring of fire.

First Ring: DPRK People’s Chair, with each PAX doing 10 BWS.

Second Ring: The Johnny Cash Ring of Fire, with each PAX doing 5 slooooow merkins (down, down, down in a burning ring of fire).

Mosey to the bottom of the deck, then to the picnic table at Crossties Barbecue.

20 dips, 20 BWS, 20 dips, 30 BWS

Mosey to the AO for Mary

Mary: dealer’s choice around the circle. I recall WWIIs, Flutters, IWs, Russian Hammers, and Side Planks.

Nice work by all on a soggy Friday morning. Only announcement was Wuerffel’s show tonight at the Kraken (see Slack for details).
