March 1, 2019

WHEN: 03/01/2019
QIC: Ito
PAX: Blackball, Subprime, Elwood, Mate, Bushwood, Slug, Tricurious, FNG Whoops, Swingline, Foghorn Leghorn, Kitten, Big Cat, Gordo,

I was with a lawyer this week who spent two days vomiting. When things felt like they were going south for me last night, I sent out a call for backup, and got several offers. Fortunately, things settled down and YHC made it out for a glorious 61 minutes in the gloom.

Warm up: SSH x 20; IW x 10; WMH x 10; merkin x 10

ME: Mosey to rock wall on Weaver Street for (dips x 10; durkins x 10; step ups x 10 (each leg). Repeato x 3 (with some urkins, and some longer than x 10)

Mosey to Carrboro Town Commons for

4 corners: YHC calls mode of travel to corner. First PAX there calls exercise, do until last PAX there says stop. Modes of travel: crabwalk (dry dock), lungewalk (LBC), bunny hop (plank jacks).

Dora: 100 burpees, 200 merkins, 300 squats, LBCs til fail (while one partner does this, the other runs the town common square)

Mosey back, but throw in “the ito” – at a wall, start in plank, but with feet on wall and body parallel to ground. walk hands back until in BTW position. walk back out. Repeat.

Quick final stop at the rail in front of the PTA thrift shop for overhand/underhand/overhand row-lifts.

Mary: Heels to Heaven, Boxcutter, Plank, rotating to star plank (face sideways with one arm and same side leg up in the air), ski abs, russian hammer

COT: It’s always so good to see the PAX rally around those in need, whether for big or small. YHC needing to know someone had his back for the Q this morning: check. PAX like LP needing to know we all have his back as he recovers from surgery: check. (LP report: home from hospital one week today. Doing well, recovering nicely, regaining strength. Surgeons got what they were after)
