It had been awhile since YHC had posted so it was admittedly with some dread and trepidation that I ventured out into the gloom on this rainy Friday. Fortunately, the rain cleared out right in time for the ME.
Warmup: SSH, WMH, Manafort GM, IW, HB, ACs, OC, MC, PP, and slow merkin
Thang 1: Station Work
PAX rotated between different stations doing exercises/reps with different coupons/toys. Equipment included 25lb smash ball, 10 lb exercise ball, jump rope, dumb bells, pool-up bar, and 60lb sandbag. The sandbag was the timer – PAX had to carry it a portion of the track and back. PAX rotated through the stations 3x each.
Thang 2: Suicide Pyramid
Cones were set out in @5 yard increments down the track. PAX did escalating suicides, adding a mode of travel and an exercise after each time, but repeating all the prior modes of travel and exercises along the way. First was bearcrawl and 5 merkins (crawl bear back); Second we added sideshuffle and 10 dry docks; Third we added karaoke and 15 Makhtar Nydiaes, and Final leg was lunge walk and 20 squats. We repeated the top of the pyramid (because it was a Mayan Pyramid) before slowly going down the other side, eliminating one exercise and mode of travel at a time, but continuing to repeat the prior ones.
