Inspired by Quint's Q yesterday, we started our session by listing the five pillars and reciting the mission statement – Quint we'll be ready next time!
We got the blood flowing some of the staples: side straddle hops, imperials walkers, high knees, windmills, seal claps, mountain climbers, and overhead seal claps.
We then did a few parking lot laps with some good ole ricky bobbies, kept a consitent pace the entire time, just an observation.
Then for the fun, we did two cycles of boulder merkin climbs, bear crawl descents, and lung descents. Abs exercised kept us busy while waiting our turn to tackle the boulder steps.
The traffic circle then hosted our next round of exercises which were vertical jumps, frog jumps (cousin to the lovely burpee – not sure how we feel about that family) and then some carolina dry docks.
Seat walls, sythetic turf, and picnic tables finished us off, acting as props for several things such as inclined merkins, balancing acts, johny dramas, american hammers, and dips.
Aye!
