Cold. So cold. The bed felt so good. Once YHC stepped foot on the bathroom tiles this morning YHC knew today would be good… in a really bad way. One knows it’s cold outside when there are more PAX that post than degrees on the thermometer.  And that’s exactly what we had this morning.

9 PAX met this morning for some EC pull-ups and squats, but honestly the squats were just to keep from freezing while waiting for the next turn on the bar. Good work was done. Five rounds in total.

The EC PAX were joined by another strong group of men and we were set to launch. One FNG. Let’s do this.

BOM:

YHC spent some time last night reflecting on MLK Jr. There was one simple quote that stood out to me. “The time is always right to do what is right.” We live in a time where men–based on news reports–seemingly don’t know how to treat women. We still live in an era where racial injustice exists. We, as the leaders of this community, have a responsibility to do what is right and to do what’s in our power to drive change where we can. One more from Dr. King, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” Do not be silent.

YHC closed the group in prayer, thanking the Lord for a beautiful morning and the opportunity to lead.

As always it was an honor to lead you fine men this morning. Aye!
