The Silent Treatment

August 1, 2017

WHEN: 08/01/2017
QIC: Doogie
PAX: The Donald, Pebbles, Soda Popinski, Screech, Happy Gilmore, Riggs, Floyd, Nickelback, ChooChoo, PBR, The Snowman, Chubbs, Doogie

2 pax performed quite possibly the hardest EC ever. Good job Riggs.. we’ll leave it at that.

Yesterday, my wife and I learned we have a baby girl coming around Christmas – its been a long, hard road and it felt good to know that I have a kid on the way with 10 fingers and 10 toes. I then started to worry about the minutia of raising a daughter – What sports will she play? At what age will I let her date, and what caliber firearm will I need? What happens when I get the silent treatment…

Because I like Riggs, I decided that we were not going to be doing any SSHs today… because he hates them. The 13 pax that arrived today took off for the hills next to Forest Hills Park. After a half mile warmup, there were 5 hill sprints of increasing intensity. After some planks and stretching, we moseyed over to the tennis courts.

The Silent Treatment – start on 1 sideline of a tennis court, 1 burpee, side shuffle to the other side, 1 burpee – ping back and forth for 50 burpees. Once you hit 50, just start running. This was to be done silently. Two pax, may they remain nameless (RIGGS AND FLOYD), followed instructions and grinded this one out. After being allowed to talk again, Riggs and Floyd were still talking…

Suicides – bear crawl/crawl bear to first court and back, side shuffle to second court and back, forward run/backward run to the third, and backward run/forward run to the fourth – plank

Do it again but with 10 squat jacks at each transition

Mosey over to the Pavillion for slow count 10 dips, 5 derkins – x3

Dead hang – supposed to be 3 minutes – audibled to 2 minutes.. still hard

Head back to the parking lot for Mary: 10 OYO WW2s, 2 minutes old school situps (goal 55.. .3 pax got it), 10 OYO WW2s
