The 300

YHC has been on the shelf for a little under two weeks, and was itching t get back in the gloom. At the AO a few minutes early and all set, it became evident that the only PAX that was going to post was the Q. No problem, the beat down persisted.

The term AMRAP boils down to pushing as hard as you can for a determined period of time to do as much work as you can. Recently that has been manifesting itself in a good deal of YHCs Qs with intervals, mostly with between 45 and 90 seconds of work. Today’s Q was designed to push that interval. The time was pushed up to 5 full minutes of work, 300 seconds. Let the suck begin.

BoM:

Today was a ball of 1. This was a good reminder for YHC that, while F3 provides amazing fellowship and brotherhood, and that helps us all to find accountability in our fitness and lives, the final choice on taking our daily red pill rests with us. Sitting a the AO and realizing I was going to be the only post, very tired and knowing that the fartsack was still warm and only 5 minutes away, the thought did cross my mind to go home. It was brief, and then beaten down by the memory of the last 10 days of inactivity. I took that DRP and got after it. The group and the fellowship are great motivators, but we all need to keep taking that DRP every morning, and that happens alone, it is the decision made when no one else is looking. Let’s all keep taking our Daily Red Pill!
