Thirteen thankful pax showed up at the Vortex ready to put in some work before the highest caloric intake holiday of the year.  Two for EC mini-Murph (nice work Shakeit and Beano).  After a quick warmup lap we circled up to start the fun.  YHC offered a word of encouragement for the Pax to be mindful of the various things we have to be thankful for, with a subtle reminder that we always have something to be grateful for even when the going gets tough.  Take this morning for example.  It’s cold — upper 20’s — and we’re tired — the Carolina game didn’t start until 11:30pm last night.  But we’re thankful to NOT be at the Goat or the Big Dance or the Rabbit or anywhere but right here where we’re supposed to be right now… let’s get after it!

Warm-up:

SSH x 50, 10 burpees oyo, WMH x 10, IW x 10, arm circles x 10, (this is the point where Coco showed up, at least he made up for the missed reps), mountain climber x 20, merkin single count x 25, spider man merkin x 10, 10 burpees oyo

The Thang:

Mosey to far corner of the field for a race: 10 burpees, sprint length of field, backward run width of field.  Plank in order of arrival.

Partner-up based on race results for 3 rounds of Doracide (four rounds planned but had to call a couple audibles to keep things on track).

one partner runs suicide (sprint to each line and backward run back to start)

Round 1: 100 burpees

Round 2: 200 WWII

Round 3: 200 air squats

Totals per man: 2 miles, 80 burpees, 100 WWII, 100 air squats
