The forecast for Monday morning in Chapel Hill was admittedly ominous, but the rain passed through and it was low-40s and damp come 0545 on the UNC Campus. Legions of fart-sackers displayed their slovenly, yellow, sulking selves, but four PAX of highest order showed up for a spirited workout.
The Thang:
Warmup: SSH x 20, windmills x 10, squats x 10, arm circles forward and reverse x 10, merkins x 10, CDD x 10.
Mosey to Polk Place for stations at Wilson Library, Carroll Hall, South Building and Murphey Hall.
Wilson: Merkins x 12, squats x 12, dips on the wall x 12. Repeat three total circuits.
Carroll: Carolina dry docks x 12, jump lunges x 12, long slow flutters x 12. Repeat total three circuits.
South: 12 burpees, 30 second bows-to-toes plank; 10 burpees and same plank; 8 burpees and plank; 6 burpees and plank; 4 burpees and plank; 2 burpees and plank.
Murphey: Single-leg squats L&R x 12; diamond derkins x 12. Repeat total three circuits.
Mosey back to Kenan for 30 WWIIs, 20 Heels-to-heavens, 25 L&R side-plank dips.
Perhaps the weather in two weeks for convergence with The Thicket and Four-Year Anniversary of the founding of the Fetzer/Kenan workout will be more to the liking of F3’s legions of Churham pantywaists. Meanwhile, Ito with the Q next week.
