Escalator and Questionable Cadence

11 PAX, probably inspired by the warmer temperatures, posted in the gloom for a @Red October Q. Unfortunately, RO had to swap with YHC due to a personal issue, so YHC had to come up with an impromptu Q at the last minute. Fortunately, this isn’t YHC’s first rodeo. He has a ready-made Q for these types of occasions…the escalator.

Jog to the field for THE THANG: The Escalator.

Start in the goal box, or is it the 6-yard box. For today’s purposes, we will call it the “exercise box.” Start in the exercise box, do some exercises and then run around the field sideline to the opposite side where more exercises are called out.

During this workout, it became obvious that YHC still, after all these years, struggles at counting cadence for jump lunges. Should we do them single count, one count for two jumps, or cadence? IMO, cadence causes the PAX to jump three times per count, and this throws me off. So as you can see, we had a controversy (1st world problems) and had to power through with what one PAX described as “mental fortitude.” Anyway, here we go….
