Intro:

28 PAX Showed up on a cool morning, with nary a zephyr blowing across Carolina blue skies.   When people ask why live in North Carolina, this morning was a darn good reason why.

We the people, in order to form a more Perfect Union:

Tomorrow marks the day, 230 years ago, that 39 delegates at the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia signed our Constitution, a framework for free government that is now the longest-lasting constitution in history.

Road to Reconciliation:

Additionally, the PAX decided that today was an appropriate day to change post TBL coffeteria venues from Panera to Whole Foods.  Some PAX (We won’t name names, but his sounds like Schmoyd) was not pleased with this change of venue.  Apparently, a Whole Foods encounter earlier in his F3 life cut a deep groove into his psyche and now Whole Foods occupies a dark spot in his heart.  (The details are sketchy, but obviously painful to this individual.)  We have several MD’s in F3: ER Docs, ENT Docs, and Oncologists, but it might be time for someone with a PHD in Psychology, or maybe a spiritual advisor, to help this individual work on this deep seated fear.  Barring that, there may need to be an intervention at some point. A little green man with point ears, a cane, and a snake around his neck once said: “Fear leads to angeranger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering”.

Enough with the poetic verses and onto the real meat of what happened this morning.

Warm UP:

SSH, WMH, IW, Mountain Climbers, 10 penalty Burpees (5 for Riggs and 5 for Teo who showed up Tardy)

Fellowship lap around the soccer field.

Main Event:

Episode I: (Constitution and Reconciliation) To celebrate this historic event, we asked the PAX to Partner up for the U.S. Constitution and Whole Foods Reconciliation exercise.

(Constitution and Reconciliation) To celebrate this historic event, we asked the PAX to Partner up for the U.S. Constitution and Whole Foods Reconciliation exercise.  The goal is to complete 230 Push-Ups, 230 Body Weight Squats, and 365 Flutter Kicks (230 for the US Constitution Birthday and 365 is for the WF 365 Brand.  The goal was to help with the Reconciliation Process for this individual, however, it only seemed to trigger his fears).

One team member runs the length of the field and back, the other starts working on completing the Push-Ups, Body Weight Squats, and Flutter Kicks.  After the completion of the exercise, the team would bear crawl the length of the soccer field.   Any early finishers, or those computationally challenged, were encouraged to circle back and pick up the 6.

Episode II: (Rock Movements)  Mosey over to the Rock Pile and pick a Rock.   The Pax completed a total of 230 Rock Movements (135 Curls and 135 Overhead Presses) 20 reps at a time.

Mary:  50 Flutter Kicks, Boat / Canoe, 25 Russian Hammers, 15 Dead Bugs, 20 LBC’s

COT: Prayers for DOI’s Wife and family as she is battling cancer.   Stay tuned for ways that we can provide support.   Prayers for Sweats, Doogie, and Manscaper as they participate in CSAUP events this weekend.  Come back healthy with worthy stories to tell at the next 2nd F.

Post Script:  Unfortunately the attempts at reconciliation today had the opposite effect form that which was intended.  for Coffeeteria: The PAX split up as one group went to Whole Foods and one to Hope Valley Grill.   We still have some work to do apparently……
