And I call this one the “Coco Lite”…

May 4, 2018

WHEN: 05/04/2018
QIC: Elf
PAX: SweaterVest, ShakeIt, Pedilyte, Barksdale, Driftwood, Cooter, Beano, Avalanche, OPEC, Maestro, LaLa, Bells, Loonie, Harbaugh, but no Coco…

So as most of you know that attend the Falcon, I’m kinda a regular. It’s close, always challenging, and I can get my Spartan EC on (except today Cooter..). But I’ve never Qed. Not sure why, maybe fear of judgement, too many PAX to herd, can’t out run Misery.. not sure the reason. So I decided to man up and tackle the beast. And what better way than do a variation of one of the greatest PAX of all times grandest beat down in Falcon history. You already know who I’m referring too but I’ll tell you-Coco. About a year ago he did a routine that required PAX to do 100 reps of various challenges that left most begging for mercy, which he did not heed. Well, I’m no Coco but I thought I’d put my spin on a legend.

warmup- SSH, WMHs, Good Mornings, and Mountain Climbers

The Thang-Unlike Coco, I only required 50 reps. 50 reps at 4 stations plus an EC station. Multiple times.

Station 1- pick Btwn 50 squats, jump squats, or lunges

Station 2- choose either shoulder presses(w weight), drydocks, or Bent-rows(w weight)

Station 3-merkins, Curls, or tri press (w weight)

Station 4- flutters, hammers, WW1s

EC Station- burpees, KB swings, or Seal claps

Each PAX picked a station, picked an exercise there and did 50 reps. Then off to grab a bucket or farmer carries down the hill and backwards run back up. If no bucket or bells at top, PAX ran down, retrieved any leftover coupons and returned up. Then they would pick a new station, do 50 of their choice (had to be different than last time) then back to the hill and coupons.  Rinsed and repeated until time was up.

I think we would have made the man proud of us as most were able to get through all stations at least twice. Strong work and fitting for a workout named after a true beast. Added in a few burpees at the end in his honor, then Harbaugh took us out with flutters (an ode to another Falcon great Bushwood). A little COT then we were done.

Thanks to all that came and supported YHC. And Coco, wherever you are, I think we would have made you proud today. Aye!
